Nature is exciting , it sticks to it's plans ... I saw a huge one the other day and it had tiny cotoneaster flowers all over it ....

~I bought one for my daughter recently at Ayletts in St Albans with little white starry flowers~I have a Trident Maple which has lovely autumn colours and looks like a real mini tree in a forest~it stays outside but gets covered when it is really cold~

~How is it going Eileen~think it will be a yes vote today?I think you are being bullied and it's disgraceful! Gordon Brown knows that if the UK had the choice to vote we would all vote no which is why we are not being given the chance! The same with most of the Eurozone~we are being foisted with a constitution nobody but the politicians wants!
Ah well ~with a bit of luck the Czechs will hold it up until next year anyway!

Thanks Arlene!
Please Ireland vote NO and tell em the truth again!!!

So these stay outside and get the same seasonal changes?....Their roots must need some protection from the very cold..how does this work?..
It is so lovely.

~I would think that these are so valuable and old that they are probably kept in an unheated greenhouse or one controlled to a max of 10 degrees or so~ My trident maple bonsai is outside all year round but gets covered when it is very cold~maybe put it inside this year!~it needs a trim,or I would take some photos~

Do a blog on it Arlene, show us how you look after yours, I for one would welcome it!

~ my daughter has all the gear~special scissors etc and I would ask her to do it and take pics but she is about to go NZ next week so it would be after she is back in about 4 weeks time.
Just been out to see my trre and it has lost most of it's leaves now and the remainder are red so not that much to see. Some if the branches definitely need trimming.
Caz has an indoor one which has tiny little white flowers that I bought for her recently~probably get that to look after when she goes along with her dog Dex!~Will see if I can pics of that after it has it's prune~before and after etc!
