Thanks everyone , it wasn't worth having a new pump to repair it , it would have cost more than it did new .... I like it in it's new form .. The pansies are lovely big ones Gee :o)

Your welcome Amy was looking at some lovely birdbaths yesterday with next year in mind!

They do like to have a bath , I find that the birds here prefer a large heavy stone dish on the floor , I have two plus the water feature dish which they love ,, they ignore the bird bath on the pedestal completely , thats why I was thinking of putting plants in it like yours .......

Food for thought there Amy, never tried puuting one on the ground may put a dish out and see what happens !
