Thanks Janette and Amy been in bud for weeks and just popped open at the W/e . Whilst looking up correct spelling found it apparently has herbal use for menopause ..! Didnt say whether it effective for male menopause too ..

Hi Dawn yes perennial lots of common names like snakeroot think the nicest though is fairy candle ..so late to flower this year usually mid summer .

Happy in shade and likes it moist grows up to 6 feet plus ok ok yes will try some cuttings can see this by your pond cum lake.

I think men go through more of a middle aged crisis, ha ha, around 50, so you're years away from that, ha ha.
I cant imagine being in a tent on a Moor at all Ray .... do you remember the film An American Werewolf in London, they were on the Yorkshire moors though.

About 50 Dawn? That would explain a lot then ..yes recall the film and sure Toto will as well . He s walked along Pennine Way and this crosses Cleveland Way he s visited the Tan Hill pub the highest and probably remotest pub in England.

Its the only building for miles around and was used for the opening sequence of this film ..they used to keep the pub sign used in the film behind the bar.Seeing he survived that think he should be Ok .

Thanks Dawn can recall the pub sign with big black wolf on it ..it was also the pub used in that double glazing advert with Ted Moult. Trouble was they didnt have planning permission for it and had to pull it out after filming ..

I can recall a tent here in a village called Kerseley Village about 30 odd years ago it did nt house a wear wolf though it was called the Blue tent. lol I dare not repeat on here who and what it was used for.

I could have made a blog out of all my attempts, especially with the photos I have of the frog which took up residence in one of the cuttings pots..I think it was hoping for a trip along with the Armandii to a life of luxury in your Yorkshire ponds...Lol...

I didnt realise the pub was used for Everest Double glazing ads! Ted Moult lived only about 3 miles from here, when I was a kid we used to go to his farm and pick strawberries, one of the first, pick your own. Goodness knows how he got into TV.
