I can see a lot more Lotus hirsutus shrubs in your garden soon!
Are they hardy?

Weellllllll......errrrr......sort of! I thought I'd lost it - but when I asked at the Nursery where I got it, they showed me theirs - the frost had damaged them, so they cut them back - and new growth appeared! Magic!

Oh, and no - I like the seedheads, so I shan't be trying to grow any - do you want a few?

thank you Spritz xxx I bought one of these the other day and it had no label on when I got home, couldn't for the life of me remember what it was, so I'm glad you put this picture up :)))))))))))

I hope the weather allows me to get you some seeds - to be honest, I forgot today! Ooops! I don't think it's going to rain all day tomorrow.

I don't believe the forecasters - they get it wrong so often! So I shall wait and see!

Dead right. If I had believed the forecasters I would not have travelled to you lovely part of the country last week.

It is lovely, isn't it! Now you know why we decided to retire here. :-))
Not on Exmoor, though - it gets snow up there! It can be very bleak in the winter.

You made a good decision. So much beauty right on your doorstep.

Yes - I can see Dunkery Beacon on the horizon when I walk just 100 yards up the lane from the house!
