Thanks everyone - Holly in particular loves the heat. Lies in front of the fire whenever it's on or across the top of the settee where the heater is - she just loves the heat.

What is it about jacks that they just lie on their backs? When we first had Rosie I thought she was ill or dead in the night. she just didn't move when I prodded her or anything so I woke my husband up to tell him there was something wrong with her:-)

Yes BA, they can be quite comical wee dogs - fantastic characters & very loyal.
