Queue here please....

I like these guys ..they havent been in our gardens for a while so wont begrudge them a top up ..actually quite pretty bird with those shades of purple and spotted feathers.

BB we have had hundreds of them flying around, have never seen so many, they were eating things out of the grass, tried to take a pic as usual flew off as soon as I was ready!!

He he all in a line then one flew away and two helping them selves like a ration que

we get a flock visit us and having a small garden they fill it up and the food just vanishes.

I bought one of those fat block holders with a fat block to place inside and have hung it up for the birds. I wonder if I'll get any takers. It smelt let's just say DIFFERENT when I opened up the packet, but I suppose the birds will like it!!!!!

Yes they need the fat like the niga seed it has oils to see them through the winter thats why the other seed is not much cop to them, so I have been informed from a wild life site I have been a memember on for a few years.

Very pretty markings and colourings on these birdies, was at the local market today and they were everywhere dodging about among everyones feet!

There in my garden alday and every day, loads of them they dont give the other birds a chance sometimes.

How do you keep up with the feeding, Clarice? The starlings and jackdaws get through a whole square fat block per day. I am making my own but it is still working out expensive!!
