Penstemon cuttings

ooh your greenhouse looks so well organised and professional Amy...pleased you can't see mine...:o) Very healthy looking cuttings...will they be fine there all winter? Do you have a heater for the greenhouse?

Thanks ...... we have a heater Janey , it only comes on if the temp. drops below freezing .... we have put bubble wrap all round which should help to keep it warm ...........

How do you take the cuttings Amy - or is it a secret ;-)

Yes Sandra , they fill all the gaps .....

No secret Dawn , all you need to do is snip off the top 3 " of the plant , cut across beneath a pair of leaves , take the bottom leaves off , dip in some rooting powder , shake , ( not you silly ) the powder off ..... and pot it up .. done....

We've still to insulate ours Amy....but this next week, it will be done! Ian brought A paraffin heater home from the sale today, so I'll be able to get my seeds started in it next spring....:o)
