Thanks that is their natural habitat as many of them are north american woodland plants

Now I did not realize that `vicky, so a lot of mine are in the wrong place.......

where have you got them dotty daisy2 ?
they like moist BUT well draind soil but they will tolerate periods of drough if they have to without any bad effects
Some love shade and some love sun
They are quite forgiving plannts
the only thing that they cant put up with for long is water logged roots, it sends them rotten!
