Thanks..the raised beds (again) were to protect against the cars that turn there. There is also a rambling red rose through the damson tree above the roses (which fruits really heavily..damsons anyone for next year..I gave away about 30 carrier bags full..still had them all over the drive..fortunately the wasps didn't seem bothered.)

I think raised beds are great....easy to look after and also make a frame for your plants.....you have a great garden Stevey...........

Thank you for the welcomes and the compiments. I don't get any real gardeners visit, so its nice to get some feedback. I do know what's in the beds,I kept the labels! but the content hasn't stuck yet. I'll look and tell you. They are all frequent flowering, scented ones,from David Austin.

Right, have consulted the labels..the red one is "Ena Harkness"; the others are "The sheperdess" and "Comtes de Champagne"
