When my wife died, instead of cut flowers, we asked for plants to go into a new garden. Everyone thought this was a lovely idea, as they knew Jill loved her gardening. So we had to wait and see what we were given (free choice) and then daughter helen and I designed a garden and planted it in just over a day.

Wanted to give an interesting walk through, and to start relating the rectangular parking area to the curved well feature further down...also thought we could extend it if more plants were given (which they have -still getting gifts 9 months on!)

Thats a good idea, your wife must of been well liked by many as it shows to the amount of plants still flowing in, which is very kind of those people.

Memorable is the key word, well done you and Helen.
Ive told my two kids that I'd like some simple daffs planted at Charles Darwins house when i go to heaven.
I will multiply forthwith after a few seasons and to be admired every spring!

Latest addition is 100 narcissus bulbs, sent out of the blue -very confusing, as I was expecting parts for my MG..the garage man was not amused..!
