Given to me by a friend this week, and potted up for a while before I plant it. Thank you to the kind members who identified it for me!

It's wonderful, Amy. I was so grateful to my friend for digging up a piece for me. :-)) Now I've got to make a decent space in the back garden for it.

I hate to ask really - does this have a common name?
Lovely colour :-)):

Yes, R'smum - it's called a 'Japanese Chrysanthemum'. Nurseries would know it under its latin name, though. Also, if you looked in the RHS Plantfinder via the RHS website to find a supplier, either in your area, or by mail order, you'll need the latin name. :-)

I can't find it on RHS at all and have tried other sites which I thought would have it too - but with no luck so far.

Try 'Chrysanthemum pacificum' - which is its other name. I hope you find it!
