Have you trained Symba to pack them away in drawers Kathy , my pusscat loves to find a space to hide in the wardrobes , sometimes she gets shut in and we spent ages looking for her :o)

And what is it about drawers too Amy ??? !!!
Mine will hop into any drawer i leave open and if they can squirm into the back and behind the drawers even better ;-)

Yes they love to be anywhere warm don't they.
Lol, I wish Amy, Symba loves to get in the airing cupboard on the shelves often gets himself shut in, or shelves in the wardrobe, always know when he's been in everythings covered in white hairs,lol.
He hasn't attempted drawers yet Louise, we lost him one day he'd gone in the spare room under the duck feather quilt lovely and cozy, you'd think with all that fur he'd be warm enough,lol.

Simbad, i've heard a couple of other people say their cat goes under the duvet too !!!
They must get SO hot under there .... i've only got to be half under my duvet and i'm sweltering ;-)))

Yes Louise Symba sleeps with my daughter or us sometimes, has to be pressed up against you right under the quilt and you have to have your arm round him cuddling him or he head butts you till you do, lol, and he'll sleep there all night without moving, funny creatures.

We had to stop ours sleeping with us a long time ago Kathy , we didn't get any sleep , she had to be right between our heads and then spent most of the night grooming herself ,it was a nightmare ., plus I was allergic to the hairs and my nose was always streaming the next day :o(

Same here Amy.
I had to get Maddie out of the habit of sleeping on the bed at night because of all the movement when she groomed.

My Jess sleeps downstairs but very often she appears at my side of the bed giving off this real loud meowwww (she's quite deaf) in the middle of the night to let me know she wants feeding.

Oh Dawn .. Do you feed her and then get back off to sleep ? I don't think I could once I'd been woken !

Aaah Dawn they can almost talk can't they :-), Symba's very vocal too,he'll only drink out of the running tap even though he has a water bowl, and he'll sit on the draining board making a right racket till someone turns it on for him.

Amy: Yes, I feed her but then Bonnie decides she wants to go out for a tinkle. So I stand looking out of the kitchen window waiting for her to come back, then I think I may as well put some washing in, lol and then I go back to bed.
Simbad: Bless him, they are so clever arent they. Jess would only drink out of puddles at one time.

Ah , that's not good , it's nice to turn over sometimes especially when it's dark in the mornings .

Symba ia a beautiful cat, we used to have Burmese they would sleep in our bed as well , became allergic to them so had to put a stop to it, shame.

Thankyou Dottydaisy,Symba is the first cat we've ever had he's done really well considering the rough start he had , (see my blog), he's such a loving sloppy cat.

Yes thats cats always loves the warmth, should be careful he does'nt burn his skin as heat can slowly penitrate through the fur like boots etc with out them noticing.
