I know what you mean, Elke; I plant one geranium for me and one for my visiting squirrel, though sometimes she takes more than her share. lol.

Oh he is beautiful! What a shame he eats stuff! Does it help if you feed them? I guess that could make things worse....you could be over-run!

They come and help themselves to the sunflower seeds we put out for the birds, and yes they are just too cute to discourage... We get a lot of raptors here, and I'm sure they keep the numbers in control so we don't have to.

Wonderful shot. I tried to photograph a chipmunk in Ravenswood Baltimore when I visited my daughter, no chance of getting a clear shot like yours though but very excited to see one (previous chipmunk encounters were the cartoons when I was a kid LOL ;-)
