Thanks! Actually, the berries are purblish-pink and the stems are pink.

Ah ... found it! That is a lovely colour - definitely more purple and darker then the flowers.

Thanks! I'm hoping to get seeds -- and plant them in spring. I've never tried growing this plant from seed before.

Haven't even thought about that at all ... should try and collect the seeds. I'm so pleased with how well mine is doing out in the garden bed ... I wouldn't mind a couple more!

I purchased this plant from my friend who owns the famous Kartuz Greenhouses in Northern San Diego County. He used to start all his Medinilla species from cuttings. Then one year he decided to start them from seeds --
(because of limited cuttings from his mother plants) he said they grew very easily and quickly from seeds
