~ it is a nice place to be ~ especially in the winter when only the locals are mad enough to get out there!

They are certainly full of beans but I bet that water was cold!

They love it don't they ..... they are going to put the car park charges up from £3 to £5 at our nearest beach , the locals are furious that they should be expected to pay to take their dogs for a walk and are taking them somewhere else ......... it dosn't seem fair in the winter .........

~ the car parks in Mumbles which is round the coast from here don't charge over the winter but no doubt they would if they thought they would get away with it~however everyone would park on street which is what happens in the summer~There is no car park as such for access to this beach as it is quite a hike from the road anyway but for us it is about 15 mins walk from the house across the golf course and down through the valley below the Castle~

~ Dex is my daughters dog and is slightly younger than Harvey being about a year old now~ Merlin our other dog was busy playing with a rope he had found!

You are lucky to have such lovely walks almost on your doorstep Arlene ...how do you choose where to go on holiday when you have all this beauty around you ?

~we love Devon and Cornwall which is quite similar in some ways and is not too far~ and love to go to Kew and Wisley and the Hampton Court and Malvern flower shows~we are thinling of coming out your way next year!
