This is a closer up view of the Poinsettia on our living room table. The light it will get from the small window is the best I can give it during the winter.

I am envious....my cats eat evey plant I bring in the house...I just got a christmas cactus and some spider plant cuttings....they are all chewed up and I am not sure they will survive!
Last year there were no leaves of any color left on my poisettia! Thank god they are not really poisonous....that used to be a myth that many believed.

They may not be poisonous as you say but their sap can cause terrible burns in the mucus of the mouth & the eyes. I once saw some horrific photos of a little girl with terrible burns caused by their sap. :-(
I'm surprised your cat didn't suffer burns in its mouth!

Believe it or not...the stupid cat will eat anything that is green and growing! He never gets enough, but the only thing he ever does is vomit the greenery back up, but only somtimes. Go figure! lol

Does he eat the grass and plants outside, or just the houseplants, Healerwitch ?

He never goes outside Louise...I often get him catgrass...but between him and the young female we now have anything green gets eaten quickly!
