Several million of these trees are in bloom all around California now. This very tall tree was growing in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. Photo taken Dec. 26, 2009.

I'll post the full tree in a few minutes...these trees are commonly planted along the freeways and parks in California.

Wow....doesn't that look amazing! Look how the flowers and stems match and then contrast with the greyy green leaves...beautiful Delonix!
