Sorry but I think it looks depressing. Nothing beautiful about it as far as I can see, - although it does make things stand out.
:o))

Yes, It does...It's a Rhus / Stag's Horn Sumach.
It's branches are covered with a thick velvet so they feel soft to touch, and of course they look like Stag's Horns. Great value tree, looks good through all the seasons. :o)

Lol ... Junglejen ... hubbie's asked if you can just send the nice chilly beer over instead!!! He hates the cold and would never survive in your snowy weather.

Hi San, I've got the Grandkids today, no school for them either, and if they chuck even one more snowball at the window I'll ground 'em...grrrr!
lol Bernie, the beer's got frozen solid and burst all over the patio, what a waste :o(((
I expect he'd hibernate like me then, I used to live in Africa and I must admit that I really feel the cold since I've come back. Wish I could fly south for the winter like all the sensible birds do!
6 Jan, 2010
It's hilarious but true ... hubbie got the chills just looking at your photos and now he's gone to make some soup for his dinner!!
Bet the grandkids are having a ball ... no school... and grandma to annoy!
6 Jan, 2010
Hmmmmm....they'll be havin' a ball alright, a snowball down their back if they get me going hee hee
Poor Hubby....to make it authentic he'll need to have a runny nose and sniff a lot, give him a Brandy poor thing, obviously a shock to the system for you with all that ssssssun ! xx

4 Feb, 2010
Yes they have been on prominent display for a couple of weeks now! I just shut my eyes and rush past them, lol!! :o)
5 Feb, 2010
Me too David, the strain is killing me though lol
6 Feb, 2010
lol Dotty, white stuff but a memory now and the beer's safely in the fridge!
Why is it that Easter Eggs always taste better than just a bar of chocolate....and you can smell them, have you noticed, just get a whiff at the end of the aisle. I'm sure they do it on purpose to lure you!
David, I DON'T BELIEVE YOU...rush past indeed....bet you've had at least six sneaky ones by now...(I admit to ONE!), and you Dotty? ;o)
6 Feb, 2010
No honest, eating too much home made fruit cake, lol
8 Feb, 2010
LMSO you two! Don't fret Dotty we can work it off digging ;o)))
9 Feb, 2010
I do hope so, cannot believe how much weight I have put on this winter? saw some pics this weekend (Grand daughter's 21st) on the pc, my b.. was well let's not put you off your dinner lol
14 Feb, 2010
lol Don't fret pet, it'll fall off when the diggin' begins!
My daughters got a camera like that, it must be faulty, I can't possibly look like THAT!
14 Feb, 2010
Yes, there must be a lot of duff cameras on the market....
17 Feb, 2010
lol Dotty...I want one with a lense that doesn't pick up wrinkles and stretches you to a size 10. Only one problem as far as I can see...I'd be 12 feet tall! lol
19 Feb, 2010
Could be useful being that size in the garden, wouldn't need any ladders!!
