This one has a little more too it, still just gripping the canyon rim, the infinite space behind it just amazed me.

Probably Ponderosa, as it's the dominant conifer in Bryce Canyon, Utah,....if this is Bryce Canyon...?

Thank you. This is a Ponderosa and Bryce Canyon. The bristlecone is there, but far less of them. They were in the higher elevations, my mother is always on the watchout for them.

No worries Smileamyl. The have established great trails and encourage staying on them. Hopefully it remains unchanged for many years to come. It really is a grand place, takes your breath away again and again. I got a shot of my mother loooking close at the needles to pick out the bristlecones. She loves them. I'll have to post.
