It looks great. Is it very old ?
Do they fare better if they're established ?

I'm very glad, especially as I said earlier that it would be fine. Phew!!
Yes, Louise, they manage fine, usually, after 3-4yrs old. Any I have had were bought small, and I just kept in pots and put in the shed for the first 2 winters. After this, they have to get on with it themselves. :-))

You're right, it looks very healthy to me - now we need some sunshine to go with it.
