We seem to have the same taste in perennials I have this too, grew it from seed, used to have it all over the garden but doesn't like my heavy clay very much, just have one clump now were the soils better drained.

I have clay soil.... hope it does ok.... im going to plant it down near the house where the soil is better........

These don't do well in my water logged soil but I am tempted to try again :)
