I discovered this one as a witches' broom growing in an otherwise normal Scots pine on St. Catherine's Hill, Christchurch, Dorset, four years ago.

I have a plant that looks very similar to this. I keep it in a pot so it doesn't grow too big. It was labelled. 'Pinus Minimus'
