I did see TG's photo, BB and have just been back to thank her for the tip :) It worked!!

Muck is the right word, Sixpence, but now I'm just about cleaned up and warmed up :)

Its horrible when you step in it, I have cats mess in my garden, so I have bought some green stuff, which stops them. I have found out that females will mess on your earth, the toms like messing on grass that is long, so keep your grass short. Wash with soap powder never bleach it attracts them back. Hope you are snug now and drank your chocolate. : O )

lol Bonkers, I spent most of my life shoveling it, don't know which is the worse.

Poor old Chloe prefers to use the path rather than go on the squidgy grass so I should have checked first and not gone out in my slippers :(

Could be heavenly twins, Wagger! I added a comment to TGs photo saying I had stood a little to the right to take mine, as the 'shadows' were further round or maybe the moon had turned a little :)

great pic Gee, i tried but it didnt show any markings on the moon, just a bright shining white against black sky, not as good, well done ;o)) what setting on camera and did you use flash?

Hi Sanbaz, I was pleased with the photo but it was so cold!! I looked at the webpage Tasteyg recommended plus a couple of others. I used the tripod but didn't use flash, I have a Canon camera so I switched it to AV, turned the ISO to 100, enabled the mirror lockup and set the camera timer to 2 seconds so that when it actually took the photo I wasn't touching it. It sounded very complicated and I took loads of shots, fiddling with different bits, until it worked. A warmer night would have been helpful :)

i have differant settings but not sure about them and how to use, i have that ISO but didnt understand what its for, i really should read my manual lol
