Summer downunder: Gladiolus callianthus is flowering.

I grew these last year for the first time and was delighted with them.

Thanks all ... Yorkshire these are new for me too and this is the first time they've flowered.

I've grown them in the past but never got them through a winter yet - too cold for them :-(

Oh Andrew, I was told to leave them in the ground,

I plated some of these about a month ago for the first time. The leaves are up can't wait to see the flowers. Sure is beautiful.

It's a new one for me Marguerite ... I'm hoping it comes back in the spring.

I joined this website after looking up Peacock lillies - I am now sure I would like to add some of these to my garden. Thank you for showing me how beautiful they are!
