Yesterday this little bird was in and out the pots near back porch and today it as been back again for ages, i was asked if it was a wren, so can someone tell me what bird it is please.

I have dunnocks come in the garden, but this seems to look a little bit differant to me.

Could it be a female Blackcap then ?
I 'did' wonder if it was but couldn't see her brown/tan head, if you've got a bird book look up Blackcaps and see if that's what it is.

Looks like a little wren .......i have them hoping around my pots in the winter.....

It does look like a litle wren, they do flitter about, beautiful little birds.

Think its definately a Wren, the cocked up tail is a give away, such shy little birds but very brave in defending their terrority!

Looking at the other, larger picture i've suggested a Wren or a Dunnock, Clarice.
