Pseudowintera colorata

This is a new one to me ... does it change to green in the spring / summer ..?

Is this small enough to go at the front of a border Spritz?

You'd have to ask Andrew - but all that I've read says it reaches 3' high by max. 5' spread. That's why I'm hesitating in planting it! I don't want the thuggish Jap. Anemones to swamp it. I'm watching for the new ones to come through, take action, then plant!
