its been my best so far Terra, exotica is still in bloom with 4 single flowers, they do brighten the house up on a winters day, mind you its beautifull sunshine here today, should get in the garden but still a bit cold for me so going shopping with son instead ;o)) have you any plans today?

Was out shopping yesterday with the dogs, so indoors today... wrapping gifts for friends and watching occasional snow falls...
Is Casper keeping clear of the Amaryllis ? Lol.

oh no not more snow for you Terra, i heard some were to get some more ;o(
casper has got use to amaryllis being around now, but he is a bit quiet after his last jab at vets yesterday, i was a bit worried and called them this morning but assure me its normal and because he had a bit of an accident in hid box on the way think it stressed him out, and me to poor baby, anyway he is just resting today and not eaten his breakie either, they said he should be alot better tomoz,
how are the boys Terra, well i hope ;o))
thankyou so much amy, im so pleased with how this has flowered and is lasting well to ;o))

Pets do get upset, don't they ... and they can't tell us why. When I was out yesterday in my friend's car, I think Conker wasn't sure if were were off to the vet clinic, because Conker wouldn't eat his lunch...but Truffle ate it for him... lol...and Conker is fine again today...eating and happy..
I hope little Casper perks up soon.xxx

thanx eileen, i have another which has just peeked through but thats it not growing at all, very strange , im just waiting and hoping. has yours got buds eileen?
10 Feb, 2010
This is a real beauty! Nice deep red and all those petals. Mine are all still sleeping.
10 Feb, 2010
I would be too, in your climate Gt ;-)
10 Feb, 2010
no buds Sandra, just lovely shiny leaves ive grown it from a bulb so i know its real lol
10 Feb, 2010
thanx GT, i thought you would be impressed, its lovely isnt it :o))
lol louise :o))
lol sometimes the leaves come first eileen and then suddenly flower stems appear, see if you can see anything at base of leaves trying to push through, if nothing happens this time let it die back and next time give it a feed, that may do it, but normally the leaves feed the bulbs when dying off,
