Yes Janey, I've had it just over a year, won it in a HPS raffle two xmas's ago. It gets very hot in this conservatory in summer, didn't think it would survive,but it seems to like it.

Looks dark enough to be "George". Are there blue, white,and yellow markings ("falls") in them? Mine are just about to open now. Yours are looking great in this bowl. :-))

Yes, there are David. The bowl used to be my Dad's it's very old.

Thought it could also be I. "Pauline", but that tends to have just white marking, in my "experience". I would go with "George", then. Congratulations on keeping that lovely bowl, too. :-)

There are quite a few Iris with names aren't there, used to have a lot of them but they dont like being in pots for too long. The pot's got to be about fifty years old :o(
