Very striking birds I have them too, but they are so fast normally its just the flas of blue I glimpse on their wings, quite stroppy characters arent they LOL

I see lots of them in the Small Woodland thats full of Oak Trees nearby San :) Do u live near any Oak Trees? :)

I've caught glimpses of Jays in the woods nearby but they have never visited me! They are usually so shy - how lovely to have them in your garden.

Hi Gee some People dont like them in their Gardens cos they eat the Young of other Birds :( But im all 4 Nature & all Birds ect r welcome in my garden :)

It is a Shame San but 1 of those things iv come to acept :)

yes its hard, i find myself shedding a few tears if i see anything get harmed or killed but your right its all part of life`s cycle and imagine if things didnt happen, the population for animals, birds, humans would be to great, so we say a prayer and move on, its the only way :o)

Lucky you Jacque - we've 4 fly about here but they are so easily spooked & don't sit still for long. W've only managed to get 1 photo of them so far. :o)

Hi Tcg im sure in time ul get more Pics :) I got 2pic`s of them last yr when they 1st started to visit me, they sit & feed for longer periods now :)

What do you feed them on Jac ? - ours pick up the peanuts but don't sit at the table or feeding posts long enough - just grap & go.

Iv no idea what its Eatting on this Table Tcg as its a Wild Bird Food Mix & he/she picks out of it from a distance so i cant see which bits its eatting :/
