toads arent slimy amy not like frogs, alot drier, i can hold them, but then i love toads and frogs lol

I do really San . It's that time of the year when we go to help pick up frogs by the bucket full to help them across the road , other wise they get crushed by cars , a lot of them still do get crushed , the cars don't slow down even with the signs up asking them to go slow for them ... :o(

some people just dont care amy, all in a hurry these days, ive seen a pheasant and a fox this last couple of weeks, killed by cars in the lanes, i hate it, im so carefull and always looking out for wildlife

Wow he is a good size, like San I love toads and frogs, miss not having a pond, will have to get some water back in the garden again....

I always feel awful when I see a dead animal on the road San . I think about how happy it was one minute and the next , gone , I then wonder if it had babies somewhere and it upsets me ...
My son has just taken over a huge allotment , the first thing he has done is to put a pond in and is looking for frogs-spawn for his two young sons .. :o)

I like frogs and toads too,but I don't get any here either.My friend has a water feature in hers,and the frogs live underneath.Its lovely to see the babies hopping all over the lawn,and she is never troubled with snails and slugs..lucky her:o))

Our pond full of frogs at moment Amy...Jane took lots of pics last week and so we did a blog.Hope to get lots of baby frogs in the summer !

I wonder why the frogs don't like your garden Angela , do you put slug pellets down ? as that would kill them I think !

Hi Amy...back to work with a vengeance now ! The blog was put on last weekend...Jane spent a couple of hours taking pics.Have our first clump of frogspawn today ! Lol

Ahhh you will be in constant demand now Ray ... it's that time of year ..

We have a friend who was made redundant a few year ago , he took on a course at an agriculture college and set himself up as a gardener , he has so much work to do he's on the go 24/ 7 .. .. . it can be very exhausting , you be careful .. :o))

Full week ahead Amy..then the following week.Everyone wants their gardens spruce for Easter now ! Going to try to relax over the long weekend...then back to it on the Tuesday. Good wishes to your friend !
