Had to come back. Is that Davey Jones who used to be in The Monkeys? Poor soul :)

Aye, Gee, he was a monkee, an; we just watched the movie "Cutthroat Island" (good pirate movie starring Geena Davis as a lady pirate - of which there were a few real ones). She carries a monkey on 'er shoulder, rather than a parrot, LOL!!!
Cement skull - £5 from a local GC
Table - free (rescued from a skip)
Pistol - £1 from local "Poundland" store
!Cannon ball" £8 from local Homebase store
Hessian sack - 20p (for funds for British Heart Foundation) from local GC
Potato "Pixie" - in sack, found in the "reduced" section at local Homebase store to 50p for 5 sprouted tubers
Barrel planter - free (left by previous tenant) :-))
Phoenix canariensis - bought for £1 recently in the "reduced" section at local Focus store
Phormium, cordyline, etc - already in the garden
Treasure chest - (red lid just seen here), donated by GOYer Madperth.
Not a bad "haul" for a mere £15,70, eh?
Wow - you! A real lady sharpshooter!!!!!! Wanna join me crew, lol????????

I did target shooting for a number of years, David, and wasn't a bad shot as long as the target stood still :)

Had another day of beachcombing today, am now feeling the loss of that hour as much as the kids, so "A Very Goodnight" from us here. :-))

Happy Easter NP!
You know? You just gave me an idea!!!!!!! (dangerous). Tattoos!! Could I devise a clue/clues or a treasure map in the form of one? Perhaps one clue "tattooed" onto this skull, perhaps? (shades of the Geena Davis movie "Cutthroat Island" - which we love - here, where a third of a treasure map is tattooed on her father's scalp, lol!!!).
Hmmmm - you got me thinking, now!! (and the kids love those transfer "tattoos", as well). :-))

You've been digging in the churchyard again, haven't you? I love the flintlock pistol. I used to do pistol shooting (.22) and always wanted to try the black powder pistols but never managed it. I can't believe how many brilliant 'props' you are finding - brilliant, I bet the children are thrilled with it all.
