All these daffs around and others day there was hardly any around.

Thanks all. I popped the bulbs in before xmas and covered this area in bark. Now we've got a lovely showing of yellow all over it and more poking through each day!

Warning - change of subject! Is your rowan tree showing signs of new life, OB? My poor little tree has been sitting in water a foot deep twice since it was planted, plus was snowed on twice so I am not feeling very optimistic about its prospects :(

Yes, I do believe I have seen some new buds in the past few days which is good to see.

The weather has been awful but they seem pretty strong trees and I reckon yours will do just fine. How tall is it Gee? Post a picture, close up as well.

There's not much to take a photo of, OB! It's about 5ft tall with a few spidery branches at the top. I thought I could see little red buds appearing a couple of weeks ago but they don't seem to have progressed any further. Maybe it just needs a prolonged spell of warm weather. It has been bitterly cold here these last couple of day :(

Too right Richard. I have a lot popping their heads up as we speak and each day there are one or two more added to the display out there!
