Thanks for the lovely comments......I really love this camera Skillen and highly recommend it if anyone was thinking about getting one. It seems to bring the light out really well....its a Panasonic Lumix, and I use the auto mode mainly. There are all sorts of intricate modes to use, but I'm not very patient so if the camera says it's okay.....then it is..Lol! Heron sent me some very interesting lessons, which I've been trying, and they're a help too...........

Thanks Janey, been doing some research and i've managed to narrow the choice down to 2, funnily enough one is panasonic lumix and the other is fuji finepix, yours certainly tales an impressive photo. :~)).

A good choice then Skillen.......Fuji is a great make too isn't it? Mine is a couple of years old now, so the new ones will be even more advanced. The zoom is X18, then when I trim the pics, you can come in even more...I'm getting to like it more than gardening now...Lol!

What model of panasonic lumix is the X18 Janey? The one I was looking at was only X12.

I was lucky Skillen.....mine was a present.......Ian had checked them out and at the time they were tops in the Which? magazine......if I'd had to research them myself...I would never have got one...Lol!

You're so right about that Janey! Still haven't made up my mind - i'll just need to bite the bullet and buy one lol.
