Irish coffee pls...

Love it. Has anyone been up in a hot air balloon. Gerry and I went up over Tissington and the surrounding countryside. I am scared of heights, but I managed to overcome the weak knees syndrome of looking over the basket down to the ground. I would go up again as it was fab.

It's so quiet and you fly with the wind so you can hear all the sounds around. Geese flew underneath us as we went up to well over 1,000feet. Saw a fox on his rounds as we flew early in the morning. You can see so much from up there.

....I am torn between having no head for heights and the fascination of seeing things from the air!

Guiness must have a balloon they send up. I should write to them saying how much you love a guiness or to Maxwell House with their balloon, and would love to go up with them in their balloon. you never know with a bit of cheek you may get a free ride!!! LOL
