Poor Bee was found trying to crawl around on the patio, it seemed very wobbly, so I i put some water and sugar of a little lid it eventually made its way and spent half an hour feeding, after a couple of attemts at flying it took off unsteadily and landed on my wall basket, it is hopefully ok as this morning it has gone!:0) [This photo has uploaded without problem]

Are they normally weak and groggy BB when they come out of hibernation? I did read somewhere on someones pictures that they gave them water and sugar and it did seem to do the trick;0)
Cheers Terra, he's watching footie so will save the bottle for tomorrow;0)

Well done you helping the bees. I used to keep honey bees and we used to cook up some sugar with water and make a sweet feed for the bees in the hive during the Autumn after taking off the honey from them. I suggest that people do not give the wild bees bottled honey as it is usually mixed with honeys from other countries and it may contain diseases that may be passed on to the bee you are feeding.
