Lovely photo Amy, aren't they lovely? I bought from a GC last year, a bag of thirty really large corms & they are all coming up white ones as well.
Are you using the stick to hold its little head up. Good idea.

Yes Pam .. you guessed right ..lol.. I was holding it's head up .with the stick ... :o))
I'm pleased that yours have all grown I have some white ones but they always seem to come last .. .. I don't mind so long as they do come ... :o)

I'd love some of these in my garden but have bought corms in the past and after planting them I've never seen them again. I don't know why but I fail every time.

Do your put them in a layer of sand Toto ?
15 Apr, 2010
No, are you supposed to?
15 Apr, 2010
Yes Toto , put them on a layer of coarse sand , place the bulbs sideways , cover with sand and then replace the soil .. I hope this helps ..... :o))

Thanks Amy it will certainly worth another try.

Gorgeous Amy.
Toto: Amy gave me good advice and I dug mine up and set them as Amy suggested above and hey presto, they are flowering. Mine are in a pot, I must post a photo. Thanks Amy
