Lovely, don't see starlings much here anymore, always remember when I was a child they were always the first bird whenever food was put out, where did they all go.

Thanks both.Starling numbers have decreased steadily over last few years Simbad.We have a flock of about 16 at the moment but that rose during the bad weather to about 30. Think this lot will nest here as they did last spring !
