Euphorbia 'Diamond Frost'

Aren't these just the most brilliant plant! I've only got one at the moment, in a pot out on the courtyard, but I'm thinking I need a few more. I just love this plant ... probably because it's white and fuss-free!

Yes, I really like this plant! This is a new plant...my last plant which I had for two years was completely over taken by a Thunbergia 'Blushing Susan' vine. This vine strangled my Euphorbia 'Diamond Frost', Persian Shield - Strobilanthes dyerianus and Crossandra infundibuliformis - Firecracker flower plants...which I had to move.

This plant can be grown as an annual...however, will only survive in Zone 10 or higher as an evergreen small shrub.

Sounds like Thunbergia turned into rather a thug! Hope the other plants survived their move.

My Crossandra infundibuliformis - Firecracker flower plants are making a come back from the vine, being moved and the snail/slug attacks this winter.

I originally wanted the Thunbergia 'Blushing Susan' to grow quickly to take over a dead shrub. It covered the dead shrub and crawled over all the other plants plus started crawling on the roof of my house. I took a machete to it last summer. It has to be trimmed weekly now.

Thunbergia usually grows as an annual in most cold climates...however, in California I've seen it cover half a house in two years.

Yes we have the same trouble with Thunbergia here ... it's got to have lots of room! Glad to hear the Crossandra is coming back!

Thanks! I'm glad my Crossandra plants are coming back also...however, they should have been blooming by now. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

My Thunbergia 'Blushing Susan' is becoming a big problem. I see little plants popping up all around the yard...even in cracks on the sidewalk.

Send that thunbergia my way please ... I wouldn't mind if it popped up all over my property ... far preferable to the excuse that passes for a lawn!!
