Bougainvillea Blooming on my street

This is just one of so many large Bougainvillea which are in constant bloom here. Photo taken Apr. 18, 2010. Below are: Pittosporum tobira - Mock Orange, Raphiolepis indica - Indian Hawthorn and Carissa macrocarpa - Natal Plum.

GT:
Almost every yard has one or several large Bougainvillea grown as a large shrub or vine. They are also very widely grown along the freeways here...mounding up to 15 or 20 feet tall or crawling up tall palms to more than 60 feet.
