Awe little babies lots of frogs to come, we use to go up the spinney with a little brook when I was young, where a little stream was with frogs spawn and some just like this, we use to take jam jars to catch them to take them home.

We did the same when young, I remember one time leaving them in an enamel bowl by the drain-pipe at home. Mum had a 'bubble bath' (as she did back in the day) and all the bubble overflowed from the drain into the enamel bowl. Bye bye to the tadpoles ! : o ( ( (

Such Memories... I remember someone bringing a large glass jar full of frog's eggs to school... the jar was set on the window sill...and I was daydreaming, looking at the jelly mass in the jar...when I noticed movement!! We had to put the tads back in the creek there were too many for the jar...but it was a wonderful natural science experiment... we learned all about the life cycle of the amphibian! life was so simple then! great to see that froggies haven't forgotten how!
