Yes - it's one of the strawberry family. I don't think it'll have fruit, though - I have them in the shade.
First time I've been called 'Fritz', Homebird! LOL.

I learned German at school YEARS ago - I can still remember odd bits, that's all. LOL. Serves you right for being cheeky, Sarah. ;-))

He he ;-) Sorry Aunty Barbara.... I only did French....and only did that until I could opt out! My French teacher was also my PE teacher. I wasn't very good at PE either. Needless to say, that particular teacher didn't have a very high opinion of me!! Still think it's a nice plant tho x-)

Me too! :-)))
I did 'A' level French and German, but I can't remember much now. I can just about manage if we go abroad as long as I have a dictionary...OH expects me to do all the talking!!!!

I can ask for a pen, but that's about all ..... I always think that might be useful - I can always draw a picture of what I want sort of Pictionary style. One flaw in my plan - I don't know how to ask for a piece of paper lol

Do you mean your aunt's pen? LOL. I suspect you're FAR too young to remember that silly song - 'La plume de ma tante est sur le bureau de mon oncle' etc etc.
3 May, 2010
Sorry, you've lost me LOL well it is late and it doesn't take much ;-) Off to beddy-bys now, nite nite...
3 May, 2010
We haven't got sound on GOY, or I'd sing it to you! It was a hit song way back.......I wonder if anyone else remembers it?
4 May, 2010
Certainly not Spritz (lies) ;-)
4 May, 2010
I didn't make it up, did I, Ba? All together now...'La plume.......' lol.
4 May, 2010
No you didn't, I too remember that song ! Passed my written French exam, had tonsillitis for the oral part and failed ... : o ( (
4 May, 2010
Oooops! Very unfair, Megan. :-(((
4 May, 2010
What's it called - I'll have a look on You Yube ;-)
4 May, 2010
you can get a ring tone of Hugo and Luigi's ???? 'la plume de ma tante' Who the heck were Hugo and Luigi? There was also an american musical of that name according to Wiki:-)
4 May, 2010
I certainly wouldn't have remembered who sang it, Ba. Thanks for that.
