One of my favourite plants, always reliable and so showy.

oddly one that i have had for 8 yrs has'nt come back this year.

Also know as Bleeding Heart.

Correct Angie. It is Dicentra spectabilis. I have several different Dicentra. I got to know them when I moved here. A large chunk of the garden is shady.

They are rather difficult to get to rebloom in this neck of da woods.
So beautiful tho.

yes and a Victorian name for it. They were anything but prudish really.

You only have to look at Victoria and Albert to see that, :-)))
