It Is , did you see my Clematis cuttings photo the other day ? I'm so pleased with them , I have 16 altogether , half of them I don't know what they are as I have pieces given to me . ... Do you think it's to soon to plant them out .... ?

I'll go and look....hold on....I'll edit this comment. -)
Back again - that's brilliant! Well done you...:-))))
i think that the bigger ones could be planted out, but when I've had 'tinies', I've grown them on until they reach 'Nursery' size -( ie as you'd buy them). So what I'm saying is that I think the smaller ones could be left to grow on a bit longer.

Right , thanks for that Barbara , I feel happier with another opinion as I wasn't at all sure .. I will let the smaller ones stand outside in the daytime but then put them in the greenhouse at night in case of late frosts ..
By the way do you remember last year I was having a go at growing Perovskia from cuttings ? I said at the time that if I managed to get any going you could have a couple , well I have 7 going , they are nice little plants but they haven't much of a root system yet , I will wait for them to develope some more and then I will send you a couple if you would let me have your address some time .. :o)

Thank you - I do love them, and I had to remove a very old and woody one this week. OH had to help remove the root with a pick-axe! I'll send it now - is that OK?

I got one of these a few weeks ago, and is growing quite well.

Watch out for it to take over, Carol! They're vigorous plants once they get going. Lovely, though. :-))

Mine is doing nicely in fat bud but not quite open yet, its one I took from a cutting and planted out this time last year.

I'm going to have one of these:-)

They do need space - unless you cut them back after flowering, of course, but it seems a shame when they can cover a fence or a wall...and well done, Stroller! :-)))
