Thanks Michealla, its funny because when they go to bottom of pond for winter when they come back up thats when they seem to have grown, when i got them about 7-8yrs ago they were dead tiny things only paid 79p each for them.

They are lovely! You'll certainly get some wildlife as soon as the heron spots these!! One came and took all mine when i had a pond at my old house!

Karen had them about 7-8yrs never seen any herons round here, but i do live in a town, so fingers crossed they keep away like they have done.

I bet your two new ones will soon get the message when you feed them throughout the summer! Flip and Flop certainly look healthy.

Clarice, my old house was one mile from the city square of Dundee! I seem to recall the heron coming later in the year - he must have been hungry - I suppose they can see tiny fish from way up high! I also had a visiting sparrowhawk, a resident hedgehog (in my compost bin) and an occasional visiting squirrel! there was a park up the road, so I think the hog must have come from there!

Funny enough Sandra (Sanbaz) as been to my house this morning and she only lives 5mins away in car, and she gets gets herons but touch wood, not seen any round here at all, and had these fish for a long time, hope i dont have to eat my words now.
