That's lovely San and I am soooo envious of your sunshine. It's grey, windy and freezing here today!...hence all the computer time!

Real 'April' showers here today, despite being the first day of May! Poor Bath has it's Spring Flower Show on over the next three days~so sad after the weather has been so great. :~((
Another lovely new plant, San.....................

Ah, Bath, haven't been there for some years now, lovely city. Happy memories!

It's just a few miles from us, K/S,and is one of my favourite cities~historic, very diverse, and incredibly beautiful! If a bit dryer tomorrow, we are hoping to go to the last day of the Garden Show, over there, they haven't been very lucky weatherwise, this weekend!! :~((

thanx karen and flori,, yes we have been lucky with weather here but a bit cloudy on and off and cooler today, we should have had rain all weekend they said but nothing really, i must say i think the garden could do with a bit of rain, the plants seem better off rain rather than tap water, shame about the spring flower show in bath flori, doesnt that always happen ;o(

We've had cloud and cold but still had to put the hose on the plants! Now the sun has come out...hurrah!! :))

2 May, 2010

ive just been thinking if to put hose on or not as it looks like rain now,

We went to the Bath Spring Show today, and it was lovely, though threatened the odd raindrop or two, but we stayed dry! Sunshine and showers late this afternoon over here~my garden will love it! :~))

it tried here half an hour ago flori but nothing to even touch the surface, could do with some really, glad you had a nice day, did you buy anything while there ;o)

I was so good,San,but I was also broke as well, gave into my one temptation at the show, and that was a recent new Clematis, called 'Rebecca', they call it a patio Clematis, and it was £10! Ouch!
Am trying to save my pennies for Malvern on Saturday :~))

good girl flori all the more to spend on saturday, bet you will have a lovely time, wish i were going, ive been looking online to see if anything good on around lancshire but not alot, a few open gardens but not till july/aug,its pretty naff here for anything like that, in july we have an aggrecultural show which has a few plants so usually go to that, its so dissapointing really, oh well moan moan hahah

If Arlene hadn't told me about the Bath Show,I wouldn't have been any the wiser,as it is only a few miles from me, but no advertising outside Bath~crazy isn't it?? Malvern is about 2 hours away for us,so it will be an early start Saturday morning lol! We used to have a good Autumn Show at Shepton Mallet, but each year there was less and less plants, and more and more Hot Tubs and Cars. Several stall holders said they just couldn't afford to get a plot there anymore,so were not bothering to go~so sad!

4 May, 2010

yes it is sad flori, people get greedy when hiring fields and grounds out now, they have realised alot of money to be had ;o(

4 May, 2010

That is so true, San,and the smaller nurserys just can't afford it, so they stop going, and the knock on effect is,your regular customer's lose interest. It does seem very short-sighted to me, and such a pity, and all down to making as much money as possible.Greed has a lot to answer, for my friend.

4 May, 2010

sure has flori;o(
