Thanks Gee. The terracotta 'sunken-style' pot was a couple of quid in a cheap shop. It looks nice placed on the gravel path.

TThe Aubretia is also in one of these pots further down the path.

That is really pretty, and I agree with Gee...I like how it is tumbling out of this planter.

I nearly threw this as it went brown and died right back over winter but.....nature has a way and thrilled with the show of flowers this year.

wonderful planting worthy of Chelsea

I have done this idea for many years with out buying a new pot to do this although I love your pot and plant oddbillie.

I use my old terracotta pots that have broken round the top with the frost and sink them under a tree or on there side.

Mine had muscari in them and have also done them with nursturiums.

There are so so many plants this can be done with.

How about we all do this as new project for next year.
