jenny wren

looks like a little wren to me... it has a tail that sticks up..... well caught..

thanx holly, she has been visiting every day for last few weeks, picking up dropped seed from the ground ;o))

there so hard to photo arnt they as they flit about so quickly...

I have one that comes and goes in my pots, but like you say as soon as i pick camera up she's gone.

its hard isnt it, but she comes around same time each day so i was ready hahha

I think wren too...short tail that sticks up...lovely birds. Haven't had one in my garden for ages...well, not that I've seen,but they are hard to catch a sight of aren't they because they flit around so.

Definitely a wren Sandra...and their numbers suffered in this last harsh winter.Glad you have one...or maybe two in your garden !

Oh I can name birds better than flowers / shrubs / or trees. Wren it certainly is, a lovely little bird, and they can sing, you wouldn't believe it, but you've done very well capturing that pic. they really are movers, one minute here, the next gone

yes i heard it singing away the other day it was lovely, its still coming each day to feed on the lawn, lovely
