Agree with you there, Amy!! I love pickling things for eating at Christmas, it extends the gardening year almost full circle. :-))

They look healthy Amy, thats what I did bank holiday monday Rob must think there's going to be an onion shortage he bought 5 bags on me hands and knees for hours planting them, no doubt go down later and the birds will have pulled half of them out.

There's nothing like doing it yourself David a real sense of achievement ,

That's a shame Angela but you do need room and enough to move them into a different place each year ....

We just grow fruit and tomatoes and courgettes.....
