Pink Laburnum? over the years does it stay pink?

Thanks Clarice and Elsiemay...:o)

This is it's 4th Spring Drc and has the most blooms this year. All but 1 are this shade which graduates from deep rose at the base to peach at the tip. The other blossom is Laburnum yellow....I'll prune that branch out when it has finished flowering. It is Cytisus grafted onto a Laburnum stem, hence the mixture of blossom colours......:o)

i have been growing one for 2 years now and its just flowering now at the moment its in a largish container but would love to put it in the front garden but not sure if it would cope with the wind down our street it would be a shame to lose it any advice peeps

Hi Gg.......I bet it looks great in a container.....

Yes it's very hardy, I think it would be fine, just that the wind may whip the flowers a bit. I moved this one to more of a back border site, I wasn't too keen on it's growth habit, but it's doing fine. This year it has the peach racemes and also the purple broom flowers, no yellow laburnums though. I have to prune it well after flowering or the shape looks very distorted.......really unusual though.

Yes they can, some of the branches of mine are at least 15ft this year. Last year I had the three types of flowers, faves are the peach blossoms. I'll post a pic of the cytisus part, then you can see.
