How nice to have different colours,San..its a pretty one :o) Its very much like the Welsh poppy,so you should have lots of them next year.Wonder if they will have the different colours when they self seed ?

im a poppy person to dotty,, ;o))

I can't get them to grow in my garden but I do like them. I have spread seeds about like confetti but they just don't grow. The only time I managed to grow one my biggest tortoise ate it :(

lol Gee,, sorry just made me giggle think of your tortoise eating them ;o)) think they like quite dry conditons, so maybe thats it,

You're probably right that they don't like being flooded - I might try dropping some seeds in my raised gravel beds to see if that works :)
